First day on her own

Today Billy starts a brand new job (yay!) so baby Cohen is home alone. I rode my bike to work and rode home at lunch so that I could let her out, feed her lunch and play with her a bit. It was actually much easier than I was expecting, and I’m pretty sure she slept all morning long which is perfect. I also have no idea why I haven’t been riding my bike to and from work all these years, it’s a million times faster. The last time I rode a bike I think I was about 12, so it was a little weird at first, but I got used to it really quickly.

Over the weekend Billy and I scheduled a few appointments for some house work we want to hire Home Depot to do, so this week we might be booking painters to finish up the outside of the house, and ordering a new door with installation, The outside of our place is looking so great right now, once those things are done we’re going to take some really good pictures for our mls listing when we sell. We’re also getting everything all ready for the barbeque next weekend, it should be amazing by then. We’re so excited to see everyone, it’s going to be a really fun night. These barbeques of ours seem to get better year after year. I guess we’re just that cool.

In a few days Cohen will get to meet everyone, and we apologize in advance if she’s a little crazy with excitement, ha ha.
