Bridal Shower Weekend

Well, I'll start out by saying that this past weekend was one of the busiest and MOST fun weekends I've had in a long time. And it all began on Saturday with my bridal shower. What a day! Perfect weather, for one. Amazing ladies, of course, and adorable bridal shower games! There are more pictures floating around out there, but here are a few to start with (more to come later):

Everyone brought lovely gifts for me as well, so generous! It was a nice and relaxing day with delicious food and punch and wedding banter. I got to see some family and friends that I haven't seen in a while, which I was so looking forward to. It was the perfect summer afternoon!

At about dinner time Ashley and I piled into her car and headed home. I spent a little time at home with Billy  going through our gifts, all of which he loved as well. And then Ashley and I took off to see 'The House Bunny'.

A little stupid, yep. A little anti-feminist, sure. But this movie had Ash and I buckled over with laughter, so needless to say I will be buying the DVD when it comes out! Later that night we met up with Billy and Mike for a few drinks (including two FAR too strong Cosmopolitans).

On Sunday it was time for our Buffalo shopping trip. Ash picked me up at about 9 am to get the day started. Our first stop was Burlington Coat Factory...and there I found the most amazing Hen Night shoes:

Thanks Steve Madden! Ash found a gorgeous Guess bag too, which I'm insanely jealous of. We headed over to Walden Galleria Mall after that, and had such a good time. Many great purchases were made, including part of Cassie's birthday present and a few other gifts. By dinner time we were pretty exhausted, so our last stop was the Olive Garden, and then it was back to Canada for us. One thing is for sure, I'll really miss those breadsticks....

  1. It was such a lovely Saturday - Rachel and Cass did a great job! I personally loved seeing your Aunt Jill and Karleigh as well as my lovely good sport of a friend and co-toilet paper bride Kim!
